Key Parameters:

The AWE Start-Up Challenge is designed around the following key parameters:

Participation in the program for the emerging women entrepreneurs is free;
The program is of 12-months duration; &
It consists of comprehensive knowledge-transfer components through a series of
workshops, one-to-one exchanges and regular networking.

Eligibility criteria:

The participants:

Should have a business idea that they want to develop
and / or including those in the informal sector who want
to formalize their enterprises
Should be driven by the desire and willingness to start
and develop a business
Should be fluent in English
Should be IT-literate and
Should have a convenient access to Internet.

Intellectual Property:

All Intellectual Property Rights in the program materials and online trainings are, and remain, the intellectual property of the AMFCE and AWE, whether adapted, written for or customised for the participants or not.

The hand-holdee is not authorised to:-

copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-licence, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of the program materials without prior written permission of the AMFCE and AWE;
record on video or audio tape, relay by videophone or other means the online trainings or any taught part of the program without the prior written permission of the AMFCE and AWE;
use the program materials in the provision of any other course or training whether given by the AMFCE, AWE or any third party trainer;
remove any copyright or other notice of the AMFCE and/or AWE on the program materials;
modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer ( save to the extent permitted by law) any software forming part of the online trainings. Breach by the handholdee of this clause shall entitle us to immediately terminate your adherence to the program annd we shall cease to provide you with any facilities thereto, including but not limited to access to the online materials and trainings.

AS part of the program, we grant to you a limited, non transferable, non exclusive license to use the program materials for the sole purpose of completing the course.
